to the ethical integration of integrative medical therapies and the preservation of health and well being
through the practice of Oriental Medicine. Your care is most important and this
is why I practice to do well and do no harm, I act in your best interest and
society as a whole, and I protect your ability to make informed decisions about
your health care. This
is not a competition about whose medicine is better it is about what care will
be the best possible choice for your particular health concern. This means that
you may be referred to a qualified person who can address your health needs.

herbalists to provide accurate information that is helpful. This site is a

A little about me: Besides being an Acupuncture Physician I also practice diagnostic ultrasound and I am still working in this field at Aventura Hospital & Medical Center every weekend, where I do two 10 hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday. My specialties in diagnostic ultrasound are internal medicine imaging, obstetrics and gynecology imaging, emergency imaging and cardio vascular imaging. In my capacity as a sonographer I use ultrasound to look into the body to look for pathology. Prior to my ultrasound practice I practiced radiography as an x-ray technologist. Before I entered the medical field I was a working potter and sculptor with work shown in area galleries. I currently use found objects (garbage) to create things of splendor and beauty. During my artistic phase I was a sound designer/engineer working with area recording studios and theaters producing industrial audiovisual programs for corporations, designing the sound for theater productions, and engineering and mixing music for individual artists and the commercial trade.
My interests are in the arts and sciences, love National Public Radio, and WDNA programming, music form Brazil, Cuba, Latin America, Classical, Dance, Hypnotic, Trance.....lots of music from many genres. I have TiVo do you? Computer science and programming, I am learning HTML as I type this.
I have a deep respect for Mother Nature and relish any time I get to see wild life of any kind. I also appreciate humor and a good laugh cures so many things that can ail you. I live with Lamar the cat an American short hair with an attitude. I vacation in the mountains of Western North Carolina for 3 weeks out of the year to reset my mind and body, we all need to quiet down and create the time to focus on who we are, where we are, what do I have to work on both professionally and personally, and where are we going.
